About Us
The Beer Crate is the brainchild of presenter, Steven Goodwin. His bio reads:

Steven Goodwin is a beer consultant, sommelier, journalist, and reviewer from London, England. He has extensive knowledge of beer and brewing, with a speciality in English and Belgian ales. In 2007 he founded "The Beer Crate", a leading podcast for beer lovers the world over. In this international show he presents magazine-style articles, beer reviews, and thoughts about the world of beer and brewing.
Outside of beer, he has been a leading developer in the software industry, selling over a million computer games on PC, PS2, GameCube, Xbox, and mobile platforms. He has also written two industry-standard textbooks 'Cross-Platform Games Programming', and 'The Game Developer's Open Source Handbook' for Charles River Media.

His interest in beer favours strong and dark ales, medium ciders, and Belgian fruit beers.
To avoid confusion with other beer writers, and with his various namesakes, Steven doesn't currently write for
any other beer forum or magazine using his own name. So, if you see any posts pertaining to be from me - it isn't me!
